This alternator features a braided stator wire design that maximizes output while minimizing space, producing up to 170 Amps and operating cooler than previous models. The inclusion of Smart Ready internal regulator technology enhances fault tolerance, making it suitable for cruising boaters who require reliable power generation.
With dual fan cooling and a high airflow frame, the XT Series ensures efficient operation even under demanding conditions. It is designed to support large battery banks, making it a practical choice for vessels with significant power needs. The alternator is compatible with various mounting styles, including the Vortec 9Si design, and is certified to meet USCG Title 33, ISO 8846, and SAE J1171 standards, ensuring compliance with marine safety regulations.
The kit includes the alternator, MC-614 regulator, temperature sensors, and all necessary mounting hardware, providing a comprehensive solution for your power generation needs. Note that the XT Series should be used with Dual Vee or Multi-Groove Serpentine belt configurations, and a Tachometer Signal Stabilizer may be required for certain setups.
