The Balmar Voltage Regulator MC-618 is designed to enhance onboard charging systems by providing advanced control and monitoring capabilities. This 12-volt regulator communicates seamlessly with the SG200 Battery Monitor, allowing users to view real-time charging data on the SG200 Color Display or via a Bluetooth smartphone app. The MC-618 features user-selectable preset battery programs, including options for lithium batteries, ensuring optimal charging tailored to various battery technologies.
With advanced programming modes, the MC-618 allows for a broad range of adjustments to meet specific charging needs. It incorporates alternator and battery temperature sensing to automatically correct charging output, enhancing battery life and performance. Additionally, the built-in belt load management feature enables users to de-rate the alternator's output, protecting both the engine and the belt in demanding applications.
The Max Charge Regulator family, including the MC-618, offers eight preset charge profiles, making it versatile for different battery types and conditions.
