The AutoMeter Intake Air Temperature Gauge is designed to provide precise monitoring of air temperature entering your engine, which is essential for maximizing power output, particularly in forced induction systems. This dual channel gauge displays both pre and post intercooler temperatures, allowing users to assess intercooler efficiency and ensure optimal performance. With a temperature range of 0 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, the gauge features a digital display with a black face and bezel, complemented by a vibrant red LED display that includes red, blue, and yellow segments for easy readability.
Equipped with programmable warning functions and peak recall capabilities, this gauge offers critical feedback for maintaining engine safety and performance. The configurable Pro-Control output allows for integration with external devices, such as intercooler sprayers, based on downstream temperature readings. The AutoMeter gauge is compatible with both 12 and 16 volt electrical systems, making it suitable for a wide range of street and race cars.
Installation is straightforward, as the gauge comes with a 12-foot long wire harness, two 3/8 inch NPT threaded air temperature sensors, and all necessary mounting hardware and instructions.
