The Attwood Marine Battery Box PowerGuard 27 is engineered for use with Group 27, 27F, and 27M series batteries. Constructed from high-quality polypropylene, this battery box offers total acid resistance, ensuring longevity and reliability in various marine environments. It meets the ABYC Standard E-10 and is designed to accommodate a battery hold-down system that exceeds USCG requirements, with hold-down straps capable of resisting up to 350 pounds of force.
This battery box features a vented design, allowing for safe operation while maintaining optimal performance. The inside dimensions of 13-7/8 inches in length, 7-1/4 inches in width, and 10-1/2 inches in height provide ample space for battery installation. Additionally, the external dimensions of 16-7/8 inches in length, 9-5/8 inches in width, and 10-7/8 inches in height ensure a standard fit for various applications.
The PowerGuard 27 is equipped with larger handles featuring rolled edges for ease of handling and installation.
