ARB Under Vehicle Protection (UVP) panels are engineered to safeguard essential underbody components such as the steering system, engine sump, and transmission transfer case. Constructed from 3 millimeter pressed, folded, and laser cut sheet steel, these panels offer exceptional strength and durability. Each panel features a return edge that enhances the structural integrity of the assembly, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions.
The ARB UVP for the Ford Ranger comprises three meticulously designed panels that attach directly to the chassis and cross members, delivering continuous protection from the front bar to the transmission. The innovative design of the rear panel allows it to cover both the transmission and transfer case, providing comprehensive coverage. This UVP system is compatible with or without an ARB front bumper, although fitment with other bar designs has not been verified.
In addition to its robust construction, the panels are zinc plated and powder coated in a textured silver finish, which not only enhances their aesthetic appeal but also provides resistance against corrosion. The recessed mounting bolts are designed for easy access, allowing for straightforward serviceability. The ARB UVP kit includes illustrated fitting instructions to facilitate installation.
