Developed entirely in-house by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineers, this shock absorber is vehicle specific and utilizes existing mounting locations for straightforward installation without the need for modifications. It features independent adjustment for both rebound and compression, allowing users to customize their ride experience based on individual vehicle characteristics and trip requirements.

Constructed with a 661 grade aluminum body and a hard anodized finish, the BP-51 ensures increased heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. The remote oil canister enhances oil volume, which helps maintain lower oil temperatures during operation. Additionally, the durable high temperature Teflon hose and high flow fittings optimize oil flow, contributing to the shock absorber's performance.

The BP-51 also includes a replaceable, impact resistant polyethylene shaft guard that protects the shock absorber shaft from damage caused by debris.
