The ARB Roof Basket Mounting Kit is designed specifically for the Land Cruiser 250, utilizing proven attachment methods to ensure a secure fit. This kit allows the roof rack to be positioned as close to the vehicle roof as possible, enhancing aerodynamics and reducing wind noise. It includes a wind deflector that is mounted to the underside of the rack, contributing to a quieter driving experience while maintaining functionality without obstructing the rear OE mounted antenna.
The BASE Rack features a unique dovetail extrusion around its perimeter and along the internal beams, providing versatile mounting and attachment options. This design allows for quick and easy adjustments of accessories and roof loads, enabling users to add, remove, or reposition items without disturbing the entire setup. Unlike traditional roof rack channels, the dovetail system prevents the accumulation of dust and debris, ensuring a cleaner and more efficient use of the rack.
Each accessory or fixture can be easily attached using a simple clamp mount, accommodating larger hardware such as Hi-Lift Jack mounts, rollers, recovery boards, and a custom light bar. The vehicle-specific mounting hardware connects directly to the OE factory points on the vehicle roof, ensuring compatibility with ARB 72 x 47 inch or 72 x 51 inch BASE Racks.
