The ARB Leaf Spring is designed to provide enhanced performance for both recreational and commercial vehicles. With a 2-1/2 inch lift, this single leaf spring offers improved ride quality, handling, and load carrying capability when paired with compatible shock absorbers. The design ensures that the load is distributed over a larger surface area, which minimizes high stresses at the leaf ends, thereby increasing durability and longevity.
This leaf spring features bolted clamps that allow for the installation of anti-squeak nylon liners, reducing noise and friction during operation. The military wrap design adds an extra layer of safety, while the regreasable nylon interleaf liners help to reduce friction at the leaf tips, where the load is most concentrated. Additionally, the flat axle seat area ensures a secure axle mount, further reducing spring stress and enhancing the overall lifespan of the spring.
Shot peening on the tension side of all leaves is employed to reduce spring stress, which can effectively double the life of the spring. With a configuration of 3 leaves plus 1 helper, this draw tapered and diamond cut spring is engineered for optimal performance and reliability.
