The ARB Emu Dakar leaf spring is a critical component of ARB's integrated 4x4 suspension systems, designed to enhance ride performance across various operating conditions. This single leaf spring features a 5 + 2 leaf configuration, providing a balance of strength and flexibility suitable for both recreational and commercial applications. The draw tapered and diamond cut leaves ensure that the load is distributed over a larger surface area, effectively reducing high stress at the leaf ends.
Each spring undergoes a scragging process and is load tested to ensure it takes a permanent set, minimizing the risk of sagging over time. The graphite coating further reduces friction between the spring leaves and friction pads, enhancing overall performance.
