The APR Throttle Body Inlet System is designed to replace the factory charge pipe system, enhancing airflow from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body. This system increases flow by approximately 34 percent compared to stock, achieved through a larger cross-sectional area and optimized bends that reduce restrictions. The single cast design eliminates two potential boost leak points, ensuring a more reliable performance under pressure.
Constructed from high-quality 6061 aluminum, the system features a multi-ply wire-reinforced silicone intercooler outlet hose, which is complemented by robust T-bolt clamps that provide superior resistance to boost leaks. The included billet throttle body to manifold adapter offers a convenient boost and vacuum reference point, enhancing the versatility of the setup for various builds.
Additionally, the APR system comes with new throttle body and intake manifold gaskets, addressing common leak points that can affect performance. Despite its larger size, the complete system adds only 2.4 pounds over the stock setup, making it a lightweight yet effective upgrade.
