The A'PEXi Smart Accel Controller is designed to optimize throttle response for vehicles equipped with Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) systems. The Lo-Throttle Mode adjusts throttle response based on the percentage of pedal input, allowing for a more controlled acceleration. In contrast, the Boost Mode enhances throttle response time, resulting in a more engaging accelerator feel. The Hi-Throttle Mode further improves responsiveness, simulating full throttle input regardless of pedal position, which can be beneficial in performance driving scenarios.
Additionally, the Smart Accel Controller includes a reverse-gear cancel harness as an optional safety feature, ensuring that the vehicle reverts to factory throttle settings when reversing.
