Rust Suffocator is a high-solids, single component paint designed to permanently stop corrosion. This product is formulated with UV stabilizers, enhancing its ability to provide added protection against wear. It effectively bonds to both bare and rusty metal, creating a rock hard, non-porous finish that resists cracking, chipping, or peeling. The unique formulation isolates metal from oxygen and moisture, keeping rust in a suspended state and preventing its progression.
This rust treatment is completely unaffected by common corrosive agents such as road salt, gasoline, oils, battery acids, hydraulic fluids, solvents, and other chemicals. For optimal long-term UV resistance, it is recommended to top coat with 3X Rust Blocker. The application process is straightforward, making it easy to use for various metal surfaces.
