AP Products Rust Suffocator is a high-solids, single component paint designed to permanently stop corrosion on metal surfaces. This innovative formula is equipped with UV stabilizers that enhance its durability and provide additional protection against wear. It effectively bonds to both bare and rusty metal, creating a rock hard, non-porous finish that resists cracking, chipping, and peeling.
The unique mechanism of Rust Suffocator isolates metal from oxygen and moisture, keeping rust in a suspended state and preventing further deterioration. It is completely resistant to common corrosive agents such as road salt, gasoline, oils, battery acids, hydraulic fluids, solvents, and other chemicals. For enhanced long-term UV resistance, it is recommended to top coat with 3X Rust Blocker.
