The aFe Power Deep Transmission Pan is engineered specifically for the 6R80 transmissions found in 2009 to 2014 Ford trucks. This pan increases fluid capacity by an additional 7 quarts over the stock configuration, which aids in maintaining optimal operating temperatures. The design features internal and external fins that effectively transfer heat from the transmission fluid to the surrounding air, ensuring maximum cooling efficiency under demanding conditions.
Constructed from durable A380 aluminum, this transmission pan is built to withstand the rigors of heavy use. It includes reinforced ribs for added strength and a black powder-coated finish with machined silver fins for both protection and aesthetic appeal. The pan is equipped with a large neodymium magnetic drain plug that captures loose particles, providing enhanced protection for the transmission.
Additionally, the pan comes with a threaded 1/8 inch NPT port, allowing for easy installation of a transmission temperature sensor. All necessary hardware is included for a straightforward installation, ensuring that the pan bolts directly to the factory location without hassle.
