aFe Power introduces a deep transmission oil pan designed specifically for the 4L60-E transmission, enhancing both performance and protection. This pan increases capacity by an additional 2 quarts compared to the stock version, allowing for improved fluid management and cooling. The construction utilizes durable A356 aluminum, reinforced with ribs to ensure maximum strength and longevity under demanding conditions.
The design features internal and external fins that effectively transfer heat from the transmission fluid to the surrounding air, promoting optimal cooling efficiency. A large neodymium magnetic drain plug is included, which captures loose particles, providing an additional layer of protection for the transmission. The pan is finished in a black powder coat, combining durability with a sleek appearance.
Installation is straightforward, as the pan comes complete with all necessary hardware for a direct bolt-on fit to the factory location. Additionally, it includes a 1/8 inch NPT port, ready for use with a transmission temperature sensor, allowing for precise monitoring of fluid temperatures.
