The AEM Electronics Water Injection System Controller is designed for use with standard AEM water and methanol injection systems, enhancing performance in both naturally aspirated and forced induction gas engines. This controller features large, turn-resistant knobs and clear numbering, allowing for precise adjustments of start and full activation points. The design includes a splash-resistant housing with covered status LED and test buttons, ensuring durability in various conditions.
Engineered for efficiency, the controller incorporates a molded-in barbed nipple for boost hose connection and a wiring legend for easy setup. The Boost Dependent model retains the 'Boost Safe' injection failsafe system, which activates in case of short circuits, continuity loss, or low fluid conditions, providing users with customizable safety strategies. The integrated wiring harness simplifies installation with a positive-lock connector and color-coded wires, while an additional wire allows for the integration of an optional solenoid to control fluid flow.
