AEM Electronics Water Injection System is designed for force induction gas systems, providing a maximum pressure of 35 PSI. This system is engineered to reduce air inlet temperatures and improve combustion efficiency, particularly in turbo Diesel applications. By utilizing water/methanol injection, it allows engines to produce more power while minimizing effort, contributing to overall engine longevity by reducing carbon deposits from the exhaust gas recirculation system.
The system features a heavy-duty high-pressure injection pump with integral fittings, a Santoprene diaphragm, and EPDM seals to resist corrosion. It includes a precision-machined billet-aluminum injector with an integral check valve and three interchangeable injector nozzles to accommodate a wide range of horsepower levels. The 1.15-gallon tank is equipped with an anti-starvation reservoir, a low-fluid sensor, and a positive lock connector for reliable operation.
Additionally, the AEM Water Injection System incorporates an LED dash light for system status and low fluid warnings, ensuring users are informed of operational conditions. The innovative injector design promotes faster cooling while using less fluid, making it an efficient choice for enhancing engine performance. This system is complemented by robust and user-friendly controller designs, making installation and operation straightforward.
