The AEM Electronics 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module is designed to convert analog, digital, and frequency inputs into an AEMnet CAN bus signal, facilitating seamless integration with CD-5 Carbon and CD-7 Digital Dashes. This module is particularly beneficial for users with carbureted vehicles looking to incorporate a digital dash display, as well as EFI users who require additional channels without the need for multiple CAN-based devices.
This expansion module supports daisy chaining of two units for increased channel capacity and includes a wiring harness with 36-inch flying leads and a pre-wired CAN cable for straightforward installation. It features four dedicated temperature inputs, four 0 to 5 voltage analog inputs, and six configurable digital or frequency inputs, ensuring comprehensive data acquisition capabilities.
The AEMnet CAN Sensor Module operates in parallel with third-party CAN devices on the CD dashes, although it is not compatible with AEM's AQ-1 Data Logger, Series 2 or Infinity ECUs, or other third-party ECUs or loggers. This module is an essential tool for enhancing the functionality of your data display system.
