The Advanced Flow Engineering Takeda Stage 2 intake system is engineered to optimize airflow and enhance engine performance. This system features a large 5 inch tall conical air filter made from a 3-layer synthetic media, designed to provide superior filtration while ensuring maximum airflow efficiency. The included high-quality ABS plastic heat shield effectively blocks unwanted engine heat, preventing heat soak and maintaining optimal intake temperatures.
The Takeda Stage 2 system incorporates a CAD designed, roto-molded intake tube and a red intake scoop, both crafted to capture the coolest air available. This design not only improves airflow but also ensures a precise fit within the engine bay. The system is designed for easy installation, requiring no cutting or drilling on OEM parts, making it a straightforward upgrade for performance enthusiasts.
In-house dynamometer testing has shown significant performance gains, with increases of up to 28 horsepower and 32 pounds-feet of torque. This intake system outflows the factory intake, providing a noticeable improvement in engine responsiveness and efficiency. All necessary clamps, couplings, and hardware are included for a hassle-free installation.
