The Advanced FLOW Engineering Fuel Lift Pump is designed to enhance the performance of diesel engines by supplementing the factory pump. With a flow rate of 3 gallons per minute and a pressure rating of 8 to 10 PSI, this pump ensures consistent fuel delivery for full-time operation. The unit features a clear high-impact polycarbonate sight glass for easy visual inspection of fuel levels, allowing for proactive maintenance and monitoring.
Constructed with helical bronze spur gears, the pump is more forgiving of contaminants compared to traditional steel gears, while also operating more quietly. The billet 6061-T6 aluminum manifold eliminates porosity concerns associated with cast aluminum, ensuring durability and reliability. Additionally, the marine-grade motor is protected against dust intrusion and powerful water jets, making it suitable for various environments.
The DFS780 is relay controlled, allowing it to be powered by the ignition and run in parallel with the stock fuel transfer pump. It features PEEK bearing wear surfaces that reduce noise and wear, enhancing the longevity of the pump. The contoured CNC machining of manifold passages improves flow and reduces pressure drop, while O.E quality Viton seals ensure compatibility with both diesel and biodiesel fuels. A fuel pressure gauge port is included for monitoring fuel pressure, and the plug-and-play installation simplifies setup with no modifications required.
