The Advanced FLOW Engineering Fuel Lift Pump is designed for diesel applications, providing a flow rate of 2 gallons per minute and operating at a pressure range of 8 to 10 PSI. This pump features a built-in bypass for stock fuel systems, allowing vehicles to utilize the stock fuel pump under light loads, enhancing overall efficiency. The clear high-impact polycarbonate sight glass enables easy visual inspection of fuel levels, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Constructed with helical bronze spur gears, this pump operates more quietly than traditional straight cut gears and is more forgiving of contaminants, which contributes to its longevity. The billet 6061-T6 aluminum manifold is engineered to eliminate porosity concerns associated with cast aluminum, while the contoured CNC machining of manifold passages enhances flow and reduces pressure drop due to flow restrictions. Additionally, the marine-grade motor is protected against dust intrusion and powerful water jets, making it suitable for various environments.
The pump is equipped with a boost-activated engagement system that activates the pump only under load, minimizing wear and tear. It includes a heavy-duty bracket for secure mounting and utilizes existing holes for installation, ensuring no modifications to stock fuel lines are necessary. An 1/8 NPT port is provided for attaching an external pressure gauge, allowing for real-time monitoring of fuel pressure. With O.E. quality Viton seals, this pump is compatible with both diesel and biodiesel fuels, making it a versatile choice for diesel vehicle owners.
