The Advanced FLOW Engineering DFS780 Diesel Fuel System is engineered to optimize fuel delivery in diesel engines. Its patent-pending design effectively removes contaminants such as air and water, ensuring clean fuel reaches the high-pressure pump. This system boosts fuel pressure, which enhances throttle response and horsepower across all RPMs, addressing common weaknesses found in traditional fuel transfer systems.
The DFS780 features a clear high-impact polycarbonate sight glass for easy visual inspection of fuel quality. Its helical spur gear design operates more quietly than conventional straight cut gears, contributing to a more pleasant driving experience. The robust construction includes a billet 6061-T6 aluminum manifold that eliminates porosity issues, while the marine-grade motor is designed to withstand dust and water exposure.
Installation is straightforward, with a supplied harness that connects directly to the battery using Deutsch weather-proof connectors, allowing for easy reversion to stock configurations. The system includes a preset boost switch that activates the pump only under load, minimizing wear and extending the lifespan of the DFS780. Additionally, the contoured CNC machining of manifold passages enhances flow, reducing pressure drop and improving overall efficiency.
