The Advanced FLOW Engineering Cold Air Intake system is designed to significantly improve engine performance by increasing horsepower and torque. This system produces up to 9 horsepower and 9 pounds/foot of torque over stock, while outflowing the factory intake by 24 percent. The intake features a one-piece powder-coated heat shield that protects the filter from hot engine air, ensuring optimal performance under various conditions.
Included in the kit are both an oil-free PRO DRY S filter and a high-flow oiled PRO 5R air filter, allowing users to choose their preferred filtration method. The dyno-tuned wrinkle-black powder-coated aluminum intake tube is engineered to direct airflow smoothly into the engine with minimal restriction, enhancing overall efficiency. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting locations for a secure fit without complications.
Additionally, a reinforced silicone coupling connects the intake tube to the throttle body, providing strength and durability. This cold air intake system is suitable for racing applications and is designed to maximize airflow while maintaining the integrity of the engine's performance.
