Featuring a 6-inch tall 360-degree radial flow air filter with a 3-1/2 inch flange, this intake system utilizes a pre-oiled Pro 5R media composed of five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze. This design ensures maximum airflow and power gains, making it suitable for both street and track applications.
The intake system includes a durable 18 gauge steel wrinkle-black powder-coated heat shield that facilitates easy installation using factory mounting locations. The high-quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube is crafted from heat soak resistant XLPE material, ensuring a perfect fit while maximizing power gains. The open-element design not only showcases the air filter but also produces an aggressive air intake sound, enhancing the overall driving experience.
This cold air intake system outflows the factory intake by 13 percent, providing a noticeable improvement in engine responsiveness. The flexible bellows coupling connects directly to the throttle body, accommodating engine movement while maintaining optimal performance. Additionally, the washable and reusable Pro 5R air filter contributes to longer service intervals, making maintenance straightforward and efficient.
