The Advanced FLOW Engineering Cold Air Intake is engineered to optimize airflow and enhance engine performance. This system features a custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material, which simplifies installation by reducing the number of components required. A large, clear sight window allows for easy inspection of the filter without disassembly, ensuring maintenance is straightforward and efficient.
The intake tube is also CAD designed and dyno-tuned to maximize power gains while ensuring a precise fit. It incorporates three CNC machined, high quality billet aluminum fittings that securely connect to factory vacuum lines, enhancing durability and reliability. The system is designed around a high flow Pro 5R air filter, which boasts a large 4-1/2 inch flange and an 8 inch height with an inverted top, providing superior filtration and airflow.
Constructed with a 100 percent polyurethane frame, the Pro 5R filter features five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media, allowing for multiple cleaning cycles and long-lasting performance. The unique housing-to-filter interface is patent pending, further simplifying installation while ensuring optimal performance.
