The Advanced FLOW Engineering Cold Air Intake is engineered to optimize engine performance through improved airflow. Featuring a 7-inch tall 360-degree radial flow air filter, this intake system utilizes a 6-1/8 inch by 4-1/8 inch oval flange and oiled Pro 5R media, which consists of five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze. This design is particularly effective for both street and track applications, ensuring maximum airflow and performance.
The intake system is constructed with an open-element XLPE polymer housing that minimizes the intake of warm engine air, thereby enhancing performance. Its innovative design allows for easy visibility of the air filter while producing an aggressive air intake sound. The multiple air inlets are strategically placed to draw in cool air during operation, further contributing to performance gains.
Designed for a perfect fit, the intake tube is computer-engineered to maximize power while utilizing factory mounting locations, which reduces the need for additional hardware. The heat soak resistant XLPE material ensures durability and longevity. This cold air intake system also features a patent pending filter-to-housing interface that simplifies installation by using fewer parts compared to traditional systems.
