The Advanced FLOW Engineering Cold Air Intake is designed to improve engine performance by optimizing airflow and filtration. Featuring dual 4-inch flange 360-degree radial flow air filters, this system utilizes oil-free Pro DRY S media, which consists of three layers of synthetic material for superior filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity. This design eliminates the need for oils, making maintenance more convenient and suitable for street use.
The intake system is constructed with an open-element XLPE polymer housing that effectively minimizes warm engine air, ensuring that the engine receives the coolest air possible for maximum performance. The housing is engineered to fit seamlessly into the factory mounting location, connecting to the vehicle's air inlets to capture optimal airflow. Additionally, the inverted tops of the filters increase surface area, allowing for longer service intervals between maintenance.
With dyno-proven gains of up to 5 horsepower and 4 pound-feet of torque, this intake system outflows the factory intake by 5 percent. It features a heat-resistant housing that protects the air filters from unwanted engine heat, ensuring consistent performance.
