The Advanced FLOW Engineering Cold Air Intake is designed to significantly improve engine performance by providing a high-flowing air supply. This system features a 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow air filter with a 6-inch flange, utilizing a pre-oiled Pro 5R media composed of five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze. This design maximizes airflow and power gains, making it suitable for both street and track applications.
The intake system is engineered for a direct fit, utilizing factory mounting points without the need for cutting or modifications. It includes all necessary clamps, couplings, and hardware for installation. The innovative filter-to-housing interface reduces the number of components compared to traditional systems, simplifying the installation process.
With a dyno-proven capability of increasing horsepower by up to 23 and torque by 50 pound-feet, this intake outflows the factory intake by 43 percent. The open-element design not only enhances performance but also delivers an aggressive intake sound. The washable and reusable Pro 5R air filter ensures long-lasting performance, while the heat-soak resistant XLPE polymer housing minimizes warm engine air intake.
