Limited Warranty

Workmanship and Materials
Luverne Truck warrants its products to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship (excluding the finish of products that is separately warranted below) for a period of five (5) years or 60,000 miles (whichever comes first). This limited warranty is valid as long as the original purchaser complies with the terms and conditions of this warranty and Luverne's Use and Care Instructions. During this warranty term, Luverne shall, at its option, repair or furnish a replacement product for any product manufactured by Luverne that is deemed by Luverne to be defective, Luverne's sole liability shall be for furnishing a replacement product and NO INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES MAY BE ASSERTED AGAINST LUVERNE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE WHATSOEVER. LUVERNE'S LIQUIDATED DAMAGES IN ANY SITUATION MAY NOT EXCEED THE RETAIL PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

Luverne separately warrants the finish on its products to the original purchaser for the following time periods:

Black Powdercoated Stainless Steel Products

Black Powdercoated Mild Steel Products

Chrome Plated Products

Aluminum Products

Lifetime

Lifetime Against Corrosion

Warranty Terms

Luverne's responsibility shall be to furnish the replacement product and pay shipping costs to the nearest Luverne dealer. The original purchaser shall be responsible for any shipping costs to Luverne and from the nearest dealer to the original customer. All costs of removal and installation, any wiring or other labor costs shall not be the responsibility of Luverne.

This warranty shall not apply to any product which has been in an accident, modified or altered, improperly installed or installed other than as it was intended, welded by anyone other than Luverne, subjected to off highway, any competition or commercial use, or misused, The finish warranty shall not apply to damage from rocks, gravel pitting, scratching, abnormal physical conditions, severe weather conditions, vandalism, repainting, or smoke or fire damage.

All warranty claims must be initiated by the original purchaser presenting a receipt of sale and the warranted product to the business where they purchased the product.

Use and Care Instructions

Stainless Steel is a naturally stain and corrosion resistant material, but it can be damaged or ruined with improper treatment. A few simple steps will maintain your Luverne stainless steel products. Proper cleaning is essential, especially during winter use. Salts, mud, mineral deposits and other semi-permanent debris can lead to corrosion and permanent staining. We recommend thorough cleaning of all surfaces once a week and/or after hard use. Use a mild automotive detergent but never use dishwashing detergent. abrasive cleansers such as Comet', Softscrub', or other similar products, abrasive pads such as SOS', chore balls, wire scouring pads, steel wool, Scotch-Brite-', or chemicals which may etch metal. These products may scratch or deposit microscopic particles that become permanently lodged in the stainless steel and damage the polished finish. Dry the surface thoroughly to remove any mineral deposits left by water. Apply a non-abrasive stainless steel polish for a bright and beautiful

Paint, Chrome Plating, and Aluminum have surface finishes that must be treated like any other exterior automotive finish, Just like your vehicle, Luverne products should be protected from the elements, receive periodic washing with automotive cleaners (no bleach, dish soap, automatic dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, or abrasive cleaners or scouring pads). Protecting and treating your product's finish with a non-abrasive was or chrome polish applied according to the manufacturer's instructions can prolong and protect the beauty and longevity.
